Deep in the rainforest is a the ruin of an ancient tomb, hidden somewhere in the depts of this tomb is the forbidden opal! The Quest for the Forbidden Opal is a couples datenight box from Crated With Love, re-thinking the idea of datenight with games, laughs and leaning about each other.
The designs for the game were all hand drawn and then rendered digitally. The paintbrush of choice for this work was a rough wire brush to give the feel of ancient stonework. The chosen colour scheme loosley took precedent from the Myan ruins in South America with the inclusion of some subtle jungle greens.
The final delivery for the project included a wrap around box design, two card decks, two game boards and various assets required for the remainder of the design work.
