As university locations go, you will be hardpressed to find one which compares to the University of Alaska Southeast.

The universtiy required a giant campus sign to aid with wayfiniding for new students and visitors. It was important to them that the graphic representation of the buildings was accurate to real life.

Using architectural software I modelled the whole site and all the buildings to scale before re-arranging things slightly to make the final image as clear as possible. The final map was coloured in illustrator, delivering a fully scalable vector artwork.
